Welcome to The Ovenden Group web site, Ovenden's was first started by the late Robin Ovenden in 1966 with just one lorry and over the next 40 years has developed into the organization that exists today.

Today Ovenden's consists of a group of companies designed to provide a comprehensive range of services to both the construction and agriculture industries. These range from large scale haulage and plant hire operations to demolition and agriculture solutions.

The Ovenden Group is well known throughout the construction and agriculture industries for the quality of service that we offer, this was and is the reason the companies developed into The Ovenden Group that exists today.

We intend to deliver our products and services on time and on budget and also to insure that all our clients needs are met. This is done with full compliance to all government agency and industry body regulations and with full audit trail availability.

Due to our outstanding reputation and longevity we have a great many blue chip suppliers who we have dealt with for many years and who are able to offer us their most competitive deals and services which we are then able to pass on to you, our customers.

Ovenden Plant Hire was established in 1974 and is a family run business. We have been major supplier of plant and equipment in the southeast for over 30 years and in that time have worked on projects such as the channel tunnel rail link, and the medway tunnels. Ovenden Plant Hire have an outstanding safety record since 1974 and our customers include Nuttalls, Mackley Construction, Vanoord, Morrisons Utility & Norwest Holst.

Excavators mini excavators up to 8 tonnes available with rubber tracks. Also concrete breakers available to suit. 180 wheeled excavators (JCB's) also breakers available. Tracked excavators 13-72 tonnes available. Breakers available or 13 ton 20 ton 29 ton 30 ton 35 ton 40 ton and 45 ton. Concrete munchers available to fit 20 and 30 ton excavators. Pole grab! Rehandling grab available to fit 13 tone excavator. Rock grapples available to fit 20 ton 30 ton 35 ton and 45 ton excavators. 20 ton long reach excavator available with a 15 metre reach. Wheeled loading shovels available. Tracked loading shovels available with 4 in 1 buckets. Dozers available from size D4 size to D8 size. L.G.P and standard tracks available. Rippers also available. Power angle tilt blades and standard blades available. Road sweepers available for short and long term hire. All plant available operated with experienced operators or self drive hire.
