Our crane hire division is constantly expanding. Recent aquisitions include the new Terex AC30, Terex 400/3 and the 180t Grove GMK5180. Crowland Cranes Ltd carry out a wide variety of lifting tasks for our customers, from a straightforward crane hire to the complete contract lift service. Crowland Cranes completed the installation of this windmill top in the village of Moulton, Lincolnshire. The unit weighed in at 14ton and was installed at a final positioned height of over 100ft. Moulton Mill was part of a restoration project that was shown as a candidate on the BBC programme ‘Restoration 2000’. Moulton Mill is the tallest windmill in the U.K. Crowland Cranes carried out the installation under their Contract Lifting service to ensure that this delicate load was positioned correctly and safely
